Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Included In The MGS HD Collection

Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Included In The MGS HD Collection

Two games that were originally available in the PlayStation 2 exclusive, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence will now be part of the MGS: HD Collection coming later this year. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 now joins MGS2, MGS3, and MGS: Peace Walker in the most awaited HD collection coming to the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.  More information after the break.

And because both MGS2 and MGS3 are both based on their updated versions, namely Substance and Subsistence, players will be able to control the camera angles. A feature fans most wanted to be added to the series.

However, the original Metal Gear Solid will still be a no-show since it is already available for download on the PlayStation Network. This leaves Xbox 360 owners in the dust as they still have no way to play the game.

For some reason, the Japanese version of the MGS HD collection will NOT feature MGS: Peace Walker and will instead have a DLC code for the original MGS. As great as the original Metal Gear Solid was, I’d much rather have Peace Walker in my HD Collection.
