Square-Enix Announces Final Fantasy X HD For PS3 And PSP

During last night’s Sony Tokyo Game Show press conference, Square-Enix announced that the PS2 classic Final Fantasy X will be remastered in high-definition for the PS3 and the PlayStation Vita.

According to the company, the remastered game will be a “special 10th anniversary production.” Made in 2001, Final Fantasy X was (at that time) Squaresoft’s landmark title that truly showed the power of the PS2. 10 years later, the game is still one of the most popular Final Fantasy games, aside from FF7.

Not many details were given at the conference, but the company has said that the PS Vita and PS3 versions of the game will both have the same specifications. Stay tuned for more details on the game as they arrive.
