Preview: Super Street Fighter IV – Chun-Li Action Figure

About three weeks back, we previewed a number of Play Arts Kai action figures based on popular videogames including Metal Gear SolidUncharted 3, and Halo. This week, we’re going to focus on Square Enix and Capcom’s Super Street Fighter IV Play Arts Kai Action figures.

Today, we’ll be previewing one of the most influential female characters in videogames, Chun-Li. Find out more about the Chun-Li Super Street Fighter IV Play Arts Kai figure(including high-res screenshots) after the break.

Chun-Li

The most influential female fighter comes with her trademark costume, based on long traditional Chinese dresses. Her outfit is alled the Qipao, a Chinese dress imported over from Manchuria, yet popular among girls during the early 20th century. Her outfit is modified to allow a far wider range of movement than a normal Qipao. She also wears white combat boots and blue leotard. The Qipao has been colored clear blue with gold outlines. Her outfit’s short skirt contains soft materials that allow for realistic kick poses.

The Chun-Li figure features multiple points of articulation that allows for her most popular moves to be recreated including the Kikoken, Spinning Bird Kick, and the Lightning Kick.

The Ryu Play Arts Kai figure comes with interchagable hands (for the Kikoken) and effects parts as well as a transparent stand.

Parts include:

  • Interchangeable hands (open and closed)
  • Kikoken fireball effect
  • Face (open mouth)
