PlayStation Plus Bringing Game Collection To Vita

Remember earlier this year when Sony announced that PlayStation Plus was coming to the Vita? Well according to the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Plus is bringing the fan-favorite game collection to the handheld starting next week. It’s coming as part of the next (ver. 2.0) system update.

Of course, the game collection is only one part of the Vita’s PlayStation Plus perks, hit the jump to read on.

As with the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Plus for the Vita will include exclusive discounts, themes, and other bonus stuff. It’ll also come with the standard cloud saving capability, automatic updates, as well as the auto trophy sync.

So what games are part of the PlayStation Plus game collection?

  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Gravity Rush
  • Wipeout 2048
  • Jet Set Radio HD
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (PSP)
  • Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!

The best part about PlayStation Plus now? If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber on the PS3, it also applies to your PS Vita account at no additional cost. For $49.99, you get 18 free games per month and a wealth of discounts for DLC’s, PSN exclusive games, and trials for both your PS3 and Vita.

Seriously, this holiday season is the best time to sign up for PlayStation Plus. If those games and perks aren’t enough incentives for you, then I don’t know what is.

PlayStation Plus for Vita launches on November 19, 2012.
