Mark of the Ninja Leads Canadian Videogame Awards With Eleven Nominations

Earlier today, over 25 games were confirmed to be finalists for the upcoming Canadian Videogame Awards. Unsurprisingly, the winner of our “2012 Best Independent Game,” the 2D stealth platformer Mark of the Ninja led the pack with eleven nominations including Best Animation, Best Game Design, and Game of the Year.

Over 100 games were nominated for the sixteen award categories; each given for games developed within Canada and released in 2012. Find out the complete list of Canadian Videogame Finalists after the break.

The Canadian Videogame Awards can be seen throughout Canada on CityTV and G4 Canada. While most of the categories will be voted upon by a panel of game industry experts, the Canadian gaming public can still make their voices heard by voting for the “Future Shop Fans’ Choice Award.”
