Released for Nintendo’s 3DS on June 2011, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time 3D met critical success, yet it didn’t make as big an impression among gamers as it did 12 years ago. Still, even more than a decade later, Ocarina of Time is still one of the best games one can play from Nintendo’s storied back catalog.

Even though the game came out more than three months ago, I was curious as to why they decided to remake the timeless classic. And why they decided to make it for the 3DS and not the Wii or the upcoming Wii U. I got in contact with Nintendo of America to discuss the details of the remake for the 3DS.
